Employers should not treat this as a fee; they should change their vision and see it as an investment. Employers are sure to get a return on investment [ROI] in the form of productivity, low absenteeism and low wage compensation costs – and can save thousands of dollars or more per year – depending on the size of the organization.
Ergonomics plays an important role in the performance of workers. An ergonomic workplace is critical to all employees. Employers must initially invest, but they will certainly save more by subsidizing costs and increasing productivity through low wages. In short, it is important to understand that this is a long-term investment, not an upfront cost.
