Empowering women with food: our health

When people ask me what to do, I tell them that I help anxiety, diabetes and energy decline women change their moods, change their health and stimulate their energy...so they can focus on work and Family, not health issues.

However, we have heard of the wonderful trend of empowering women. It makes me wonder if I can - whether I am or not - empower women through food.

This short article deals with women's physical health issues and how food helps prevent or reverse them.

Are women's health concerns related to food?

Some of the major health concerns of women are heart disease, cancer [the top 2 for lung and breast cancer], diabetes, high blood pressure, obstructive pulmonary disease, flu and pneumonia, and kidney disease. Of course, there are others.

Among the above diseases, food diseases that may be considered to be food are metabolic diseases: heart disease, breast cancer, diabetes and high blood pressure. All of this has proven to be rooted in insulin resistance. Helping women to reverse these conditions through food and exercise is a feature of mine and I have a good track record of doing so.

[Even if the cold and flu are related to food, the food will support or derail the immune system.]

Another health problem for pregnant women is - or should be - the baby has autism. If the expectant mother has one or more of the metabolic disorders listed above, and/or high cholesterol, high triglycerides or polycystic ovary syndrome, the risk of autism is greatly increased.

Does changing diet help reverse metabolic conditions?

Most health information suggests that weight loss will lead to a reversal of metabolic conditions. Yes, weight loss can and definitely helps.

But how good is it to set the change in movement just by different diets, even before weight loss occurs?

My approach focuses on setting metabolic changes in motion and keeping them going. To some extent, I show women how to eat in a way that reverses insulin resistance and its related diseases. I like to be able to say that my work can and does empower women.
