1. Think that they will never or will never be victims of an attack. Everyone is a potential victim. Believing that you are not attacked is a disaster.
Treat their communities as safe havens and be free from danger. No place is completely free from danger. We must always be prepared.
3. Do not invest in self-defense or rape prevention courses or seminars. A person does not have to be black to protect himself. Learning some basic skills can help save lives and invest very little.
4. Blindly believe that this is a world of Pollyanna without predators. This is a predatory world, not a paradise. A person does not have to be paranoid, but people should never be aware of the surrounding environment.
5. Let their children leave public places such as parks, campuses and theme parks. Young children somewhere in the day will stay alone in the park and on campus. This is a huge mistake. The predator can catch a child, then leave, and leave is seconds.
6. I don't know who is watching them when they shop. The predator is a hunter. They are often where women and children gather. You should always recognize who may be observing or following you. If you think someone is following you, go to the most crowded places for security and if so, please make noise. Don't be silent.
7. Failure to observe vehicles around the vehicle, especially vehicles near the driver's side door. A common practice for predators is to park their vans with their sliding doors to assist the driver's side door to potential victims. When the potential victim is at the door of her vehicle, the predator quickly opens the door, grabs the victim, pulls her inside and leaves the area.
8. You should not look down at the car before entering the vehicle. The predators can hide and wait underneath the vehicle, cutting their victim's ankle as they enter the vehicle and continue to complete their attack.
9. Walk or jog at night alone. Walking alone or jogging at night is a hassle, especially if there is a regular pattern and exercise time.
10. Don't let yourself be transported to another place by strangers. Marauders often try to move their victims to a remote, private place where they can make horrendous behavior. Never transport.
11. Failure to take the initiative to defend or fight if necessary. Don't think that cavalry will save you everywhere. The predators plunder the lonely people themselves and look weak and alert. Do it yourself. Don't wait for someone to save you. Remember that when you are alone, you are independent. You and you are your own protectors and saviors.
12. Give up when asserting. This is very important. If you are accused, you must never give up, never. ~End
