Selena Roberts' book "A-Rod - Alex Rodriguez's Multiplayer Life" has become a media sensation even before it was published. Selena Roberts and Alex Rodriguez are both very famous and can even appeal to people who never like to read a book of more than two hundred pages. Roberts has a way to attract her audience and readers so that you can't deviate from the story she weaves.
I am not a big fan of great fans - I am more like a tennis fan - but I watched enough sports news with my brother, they like baseball and know who Alex Rodriguez is. I am amazed at his talents. In fact, he is the only baseball player I have known in recent years. I was amazed when Roberts revealed that he used steroids to help his performance and thus improve his statistics. Part of me can't deny that this talented player has deceived all of us who cheered and supported him; but part of me can't deny that this is possible. Roberts would not be so fearless to publish a book about what she had just speculated. There must be something that all of us have missed. She obviously didn't do anything.
Before most people had their own copies, I had a copy of a book that was not a big surprise for my brother. In fact, my brother is the only one in his group of friends - and of course everyone is a great fan - they welcome Roberts's view of A-Rod, one of his favorite baseball players. Unauthorized biographies are not just a stereo exposure of A-Rod; Roberts delved into his attitude as a person rather than focusing on the athletes we know. She has raised some facts since childhood, how he used to use stereo as a high school baseball player in his early years as a habit he bought before he played for the Texas Rangers. She writes in a way I didn't expect - more sympathy than controversy.
In fact, the title of this book is very relevant. Roberts showed us the different experiences of A-Rod - all of which contributed to his use of drugs that improved his performance. To my surprise, Roberts did not publish the book without first confronting Rodriguez. That and the athlete did not deny the facts of the allegations. This is a brave move for both of them, and people should not judge any of them for what they do - Roberts writes the book; Rodriguez uses steroids. This is a very good book - in addition to controversial stereo use - whether you are a baseball or a fan of Roberts, A-Rod--Selena Roberts's Alex Rodriguez's multiplayer life is a book You should not miss the book.
