Book Review: How Sachin Destroys My Life with Vikram Sathaye

How Sachin destroyed my life - Now, this is a very brave title for a book published in India, where the name Sachin is synonymous with GOD. But Vikram certainly gets 50% attention and hype, which is very much needed for non-fiction.

There are many books about cricket players, especially Sachin. People have detailed his skills, temperament, personality and his special hundreds of people. But Vikram offers a rare perspective. Except for Vikram Sathaye and Andy Zaltzman, I don't think of many humorous and talk show comedians. To some extent, this book expresses the feelings of the entire male population in India. In fact, Sachin destroyed many lives. At some point, Sachin played a role in our personal lives and careers. Vikram is very exposed to these aspects. He just caught us, just like the crazy population, watching Sachin's growth and growth. In fact, he is very balanced. He decorated every sentence with wit and humor. When you think he is hurting your Sachin fans, he will let you laugh with those witty words. In fact, he did not play in the highest level of competition, which makes us think that he is one of us - an ordinary board fan. In fact, he realized the dream of every Indian board fan, not his own cricket player, giving us a sense of hope. The initial chapter was very concerned about Vikram's struggle to try to detect his cricket dream. These chapters provide sufficient justification for the first half of the book. You have always sympathized with Vikram, and you want him to succeed on cricket like Sachin. When he happens to cross the path with his idol, you want to be Vikram. His success story emphasizes the role of fate in life.

The most striking part of the book is the story of the team's masseur Mane Kaka. These are the people we will never know. These are the people who take care of our heroes. This is a great story and it was told to buy. We should praise Vikram for introducing us to Mane Kaka. In a way, I think both Vikram and Manekaka are on the same path. If Mane Kaka is the most touching aspect of the book, then the mention of Virender Sehwag is warming the heart. Sehwag is one of the unique players. His batting and characters have a natural style and aura. Vikram gave a chapter to Sledging and was happy to learn about Sehwag's reaction to Michael Clarke's sleigh. These are the game aspects that are common to board fans. There are many such anecdotes in Vikram's book. In a serious tone, he touched on some aspects that were rarely discussed. A commentator with a non-cricket background is such a topic. He explained how difficult it is to survive in the cricket world for commentators or moderators without a professional cricket background.

This book is wonderful to read and it makes you want more. Vikram did a good job. You are Sachin for many people now.
