Geochemical analysis technique

The main purpose of geochemical analysis is to find the exploration area of ​​the deposit. The process involves several steps, such as sample collection, grinding, comminution, and laboratory analysis.

Coarse rock samples should range from 5 kg to 10 kg. Geochemical samples include rocks, drainage, organic matter, gas, soil and water. Types of rock samples include channels, chips, cores, drills and grabs. Samples can be analyzed on site. For example, conductivity, chemical reaction, hydrogen ion concentration, etc. can be carried out in the field itself. Collecting soil samples requires an understanding of the soil formation process. Typically, soil samples can be collected by spiral [manual or mechanical], pitting and trenching. The collected samples should be processed and converted to a uniform size, ie any high-level debris removed.

Plants and animals can also produce some clues about the basic concentration. For example, the excessive presence of some chemical elements can occur in the form of chlorosis and genetic gnomes. Similarly, dogs can sniff out some of the sulfide gases released during the oxidation of mineral deposits.

The above technique utilizes the wavelength of the electromagnetic spectrum. In other words, these techniques are the reaction between the sample and the electromagnetic radiation.
