Time management is a valuable skill necessary to lead a quality life. In our current society, people are constantly striving to fulfill their duties and responsibilities, making time for leisure, family and themselves. In order to deal with the needs of life without going crazy, people should learn the ability to manage. But what is time management?

Before entering the six basic elements of the definition of time management, it is important to understand how this skill affects an individual's overall quality of life. Time is one of the skills individuals must learn to improve their productivity. A person's productivity is achieved by how much he can do in a certain period of time. Personal productivity is one of the important elements of life management. If a person can master life management, they can fully enjoy life.

Now, the relationship between time management, personal productivity and life management is clear, and it is time to enter the six basic elements of management definition.

  1. Management Objectives: Goals are important in one's life. Without a goal, people will walk aimlessly in life and be bothered by the feeling of not doing anything. Personal goals will guide individuals in the right direction and will help this person concentrate on achieving this goal. Therefore, at the end of the day, this person will have a feeling of self-fulfillment.

  2. Management tasks: Everyone has to deal with important tasks every day. Managing these tasks is essential to ensure that individuals don't do too much. In addition, management tasks will ensure that a person does not forget any important errands or miss any deadlines.

  3. Prioritize: Learning priorities are also good skills for completing management tasks. Because time is very limited, it is vital that a person completes his priorities first before anything else. In this way, one person can get closer to the goal every day. Determining the priority is simply knowing what is needed to accomplish the goal and knowing what to do next.

  4. Use the calendar: Calendar is very important for full management time. Whether it's a desktop calendar or an electronic calendar, it's vital that one has one. If you have multiple calendars [Outlook, Mobile, PDA, Desktop Calendar], it is also recommended to sync all calendars to avoid missing anything.

  5. Procrastination management: Everyone has a tendency to delay, and for some people, this feeling is hard to resist. However, to be a successful time manager, you must learn to resist the call of delay.

  6. Remind the system: A good follow-up system is necessary, so don't forget the old tasks or projects. Every day there are new things to watch out for, and a good reminder system will definitely help manage all of these tasks.

Time Management Definition: In general, time management is a skill that helps individuals manage time to complete tasks, achieve goals, and free up time for themselves.
