Outdoors are great for placement because it offers more variety. You can choose between night or day, or damn or dusk, as well as a variety of places and settings. If you have a model ready and you are looking for somewhere you can build them, here are some ideas about interesting environments and backgrounds:
Graffiti covered wall from
This is traditional when you want to provide a city, hardcore street aspect for your work. Don't think of it as all the marks and gang signs - some graffiti artists are very talented and draw beautiful murals.
Desert rock from
If the canyons and hills of Arizona in the United States look familiar, it is because they are the most photographed areas in the world. Numerous Western-themed movies have been filmed here for a variety of denim and Indian dramas. The desert is also a great place to shape sexy models, sometimes on the boulder, with a strong wind-carved canyon wall behind it.
Beach from
This is a cliché that we must include. Always point the lens at the shoreline when shooting at the beach. Never point it at the sea or on the shore. You usually let your model walk towards you and look out over the water. This is the favorite of everyone who poses outdoors. Have you noticed that most beach shots have water on the right and land on the left? Why is that? Anywhere, the beach is not awkward, crazy experiment, so just go by book. If you want to dance and original, you won't be shooting at the beach first.
forest from
You will want a sunny, sunny day, a lot of canopy covering all the mottled shadows, your model lazy on the tree. Medieval clothing with fierce weapons is optional.
Park bench from
Ideal for those interviewing poses, or those that take pictures of the authors of dust jackets. If you particularly like art tendencies, well-designed benches can also be good props for black and white photography.
